Fall weddings have a certain ambiance and magic of their own. The air is crisp, the colors are rich with warm hues, and there’s a certain cozy elegance that sets the tone. This couldn’t have been more true for the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Forest Lewis as they envisioned an intimate and sophisticated wedding with a jazz club vibe at the downtown Hotel Washington.
If you are recently engaged, congratulations! After engagement there is a rush of emotions and thoughts that flood in all at once. As you approach the substantial task of planning an entire wedding, you may be asking, “Where do I begin?” Deciding a budget should be on the top of your list. We know that jumping into venue tours and researching florists can be so fun! Before you jump too far into any of these wedding plans, ensure there is an established budget.
Over the past year we have had the privilege of planning a fall wedding for Mallory and David. From the Autumn tones to the unique personal touches, it was a joy to come alongside this sweet couple to plan and design their wedding celebration from start to finish. Mallory and David were introduced through mutual friends in Washington D.C. while David was still in the Navy.
This midsummer Washington D.C. wedding was nothing short of magical. From the whimsical, colorful bouquets to the stunning venue space, Amelia and Austin’s wedding day was the perfect celebration. It’s always a blessing to get to know our couples throughout the planning process and this couple was no exception.
Imagine a romantic courtyard lit by candles, bistro lights, and the night sky. In the middle of the courtyard is a dance floor filled with close friends singing and dancing their hearts out. In the middle of that dance floor is the bride and groom celebrating the start of their forever together. It’s a night you never want to end!
