Danielle and Dave
Imagine a romantic courtyard lit by candles, bistro lights, and the night sky. In the middle of the courtyard is a dance floor filled with close friends singing and dancing their hearts out. In the middle of that dance floor is the bride and groom celebrating the start of their forever together. It’s a night you never want to end!
This was exactly the feeling of Danielle and Dave’s unforgettable reception filled with nothing but celebration, love, and joy!
Danielle and Dave’s love story all started when they were first introduced by Danielle’s friend, who also happens to now be Dave’s sister-in-law. It all began at a concert and the rest is as they say, “history”! This joyful couple has a radiating love for their family, friends, and of course, each other.
The ladies started their day at the glamorous Eleanor Suite in The Alexandrian Hotel, while the guys gathered at The George of Old Town. Both locations were the perfect setting to spend time with their closest family and friends as they prepared for the day ahead.
Following a special ceremony at Fairlington Presbyterian Church, the new couple and their wedding party made their way into the capital to capture memories on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Guests made their way to The Alexandrian to enjoy specialty drinks and appetizers while they mingled during cocktail hour.
Personal details were highlighted throughout the reception, like the family owned mustard company, Mucci Mustard. Guests took home a jar of this delicious mustard sauce and the Alexandrian’s chef even featured the mustard on the salmon entree.
One of the most memorable highlights of the day is the unforgettable dance party that kept its energy from start to finish! The parents and wedding party were announced into the courtyard preparing the way for the entrance of the new husband and wife. After the couple was announced and enjoyed their first dance, guests were invited to join in and start off the night dancing! Danielle and Dave prioritized the inclusion of their guests into so many aspects of the night. Following toasts and dinner, the dance party continued all night long. Of course, there were quick breaks from dancing to enjoy the champagne tower and Italian Amaretti cookies brought down from New York City!
What’s the perfect reception without late night snacks to top it off? Danielle and Dave’s party continued on at King & Rye, The Alexandrian’s bar adjacent to the courtyard, complete with a fry bar ready for everyone to enjoy.
Cheers to the Dudecks! We will always cherish the memories from your unforgettable wedding day!
