A Joyous Wedding Celebration

One of our favorite parts of our job as wedding planners is witnessing the joy between the bride and groom on their wedding day. If you have been a bride before, you know what this bliss feels like. The guests at the wedding surely get to witness and share in this delight, but as wedding planners, we are honored to experience those small moments filled with the brightest joy in a unique and intimate way on the wedding day.

Maria and Nick’s wedding was no exception; we fondly look back on the special moments we observed throughout the day. Rejoicing took place in all of those small moments from getting ready to dancing the night away with the Bachelor Boys Band!

The wedding took place on a beautiful spring day in May – complete with clear skies and warm sunshine – which made for a delightful day to get married. Close family and friends gathered at Bull Run Golf Club to witness the union of Maria and Nick at an outdoor ceremony near the golf course, surrounded by lush grass and trees blowing in the warm breeze. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the tented patio to enjoy conversation complemented by passed wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres.

A dinner reception celebrating the new couple included heartwarming toasts followed by a night of dancing and singing along to the live band! They cut into a two-tiered bundt cake and served delicious “bunditini” cakes in a variety of flavors to their guests. We love when couples include a longest married couple dance as part of their evening reception. As the new couple is celebrating the very start of the journey together, this special dance recognizes the many years and decades of marriage that guests have experienced! Maria’s grandparents, Ralph and Doris, were recognized for their almost 68 amazing years of marriage!
